OUTFIT - the skort

Zara skort | H&M blouse | Forever21 backpack | DKNY watch | Manas sneakers

I present to you the famous Zara skort, the big blogger-musthave this summer. I too surrendered and joined the large Zara-skort-lovers crowd. It's versatile, modern, comfortable and well, the price isn't too bad either! Definitely one of my favorites at the moment! These photos were taken at the New York hotel in Rotterdam yesterday, a Rotterdam photo diary will probably be up tomorrow. And of course, I still have lots of Australia posts (and probably an Australia video haul) in store for you! xoxo

TRAVEL DIARY - the rocks

As I mentioned before, I have given up on posting my Australia trip chronologically, so these photos are from a few weeks ago when I went up to Coral Bay and spent the days snorkelling, eating ice creams and sunbathing. Maike, a German-Namibian girl with whom I spent most of my days with, shot these photos of me while going for a walk on the beach one evening. Coincidentally, I found this photo below on Pinterest a few days ago and it reminded me so much of these photos above! The main differences: supermodel Veruschka vs. me and Vogue vs. my blog, but other than that the photos are quite alike aren't they? :) Anyways, I thought it would be fun to show you this similarity. Love Aimee

OUTFIT - sporty silver

WE parka | H&M trend top | H&M jeans | Monki cap | Manas sneakers (new)

Hi sweets! I am so excited, because I will be leaving for Australia in four days! I am really counting down the days and I started packing today. I can't believe I will be flying to the other side of the world on my own. But I am definitely ready for this adventure! Onto the outfit: about a year ago I only wore dresses and skirts, but lately I have been wearing more jeans and sporty clothes. However, I have always been a girly girl, so of course I had to add some bling and glitter to this outfit :) My new glitter sneakers are from Manas, a Spanish brand, and I love them! My mum took these photos of me a few days ago when we went out for dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant here in Zwolle. We saw this metallic coloured graffiti wall and we thought it would be a perfect backdrop. I will keep you updated about my Australia trip! :) xoxo Aimee

OUTFIT - stripes and silver

COS top (new) | H&M jeans | Zara bag | H&M trend loafers (new) | Monki hair clip

Hey there lovelies! First of all, thank you so much for your sweet and motivating comments on my favorites video. They really made my day and they always give me such an energy boost! Today me and my friends An and Eva visited The Fundatie, which is the museum in the town where I live. It recently reopened after a big and long renovation and I must say that I was impressed! More about that in my next post :) On to the outfit which is quite simple but still cute in my opinion: I am wearing a new top, new shoes and a new hair clip. Aren't these silver loafers cool? I got them at the Trend section at H&M in sales for 20 euros :) Yes guys , I did a little shopping! Actually I shopped a little too much, but oh well, once in while we have to treat ourselves a little, am I right? Right now I am getting ready for my first graduation party, which has the theme 'White Party'. I am excited about it and I hope to show you a photo of my outfit on Instagram. Enjoy your evening :) Love Aimee

OUTFIT - the beach

H&M trend top | H&M pants | Rayban sunglasses | DKNY watch | Chanel earrings

My friend An and I went to the beach last Tuesday and even though it was quite chilly, we really enjoyed ourselves shooting these photos on the beach. I love their spontaneity and energy. We had so much fun that day! I will show you all the activities we did in a vlog, which will be up sometime this week. I am quite excited about Thursday, because I will hear the results of my final exams then! I am feeling the nerves already... xoxo Aimee

OUTFIT - little white dress

H&M dress | Zara shoes | Kiko nail polish | gifted ring

Hi everyone, I am not done with my Paris posts yet, but I really wanted to show you this outfit which I wore yesterday. My parents organized a big party because they both turned 50 this year and because they have been married for 20 years! Those are definitely milestones! Lots of family and friends were invited and everyone had a really good time. My brother and I secretly raised money for a special present to give our parents and we also collected photos and stories from when my parents were young which we included in a book. I believe the gifts were a big success, so that makes me a happy girl :)
I wore this H&M dress which I am also planning on wearing to my graduation. I wore my new Zara sandals which are so, so comfortable! I love them :) The ring is a very special present for my 18th birthday which I got from my aunt and uncle. My aunt saw it in a store and thought it had my name written all over it; she's right! I thought I would brighten the outfit up a little by adding my bright blue Kiko nail polish. Well, that was my outfit! My sweet cousin Margot and I saw these flowers and thought it would be a nice backdrop. I like how these photos turned out! Thanks cous :) So, my latest news: My French exam went great, I am really happy about that! Also, my three months of vacation have started! I have got lots of fun things planned! I am thinking about doing a vlog about a special trip which my friend An and I are going on next Tuesday. I will keep you posted. Enjoy your Sunday! Love Aimee

OUTFIT - barok and denim

H&M blouse (new) | Forever21 shorts | Forever21 backpack | Manas boots | DKNY watch

Here's my first Paris post! My mum and I had such an incredible time; we explored parts of Paris we had never visited before and each time we visit the City of Love and Lights we are amazed by all the different neighborhoods and all the cultural experiences Paris has to offer. Even though Paris has about 2,5 million inhabitants, I somehow feel at home and comfortable strolling along old streets such as Boulevard Haussmann, which you can see in these photos above. I guess I feel that way because all the different neighborhoods have a village feeling to them with their own cafés, markets and schools. Recently, I read a book about Paris and the author pointed out that some Parisians who have lived in Paris all their lives have never visited the Eiffel Tower or have crossed the river Seine; they just stay in their own trusted neighborhoods. My mum and I didn't stay in a hotel this time. We made use of AirBNB which is quite a new concept, but a very successful one. Basically, you 'rent' someone's house for a few days while the person who owns the house is away. This is quite a cheap solution and if you search the AirBNB website carefully, you will be able to find beautiful appartements on the most amazing locations. At first my mum and I were a little concerned about the safety and reliability, but AirBNB proved us wrong and it worked really well for us! We will definitely make use of it again in the future! I wore this outfit on Saturday. Paris gives me so much positive energy, hence the happy jumping picture :) A few more Paris posts are coming up, I hope you enjoy them! Beaucoup de bisous, Aimee
