TRAVEL DIARY - Coral Bay

After driving through the desert for hours and hours, hundreds of kilometres, I arrived in Coral Bay with its sandy beaches, blue skies and clear water. One word: PARADISE!

TRAVEL DIARY - the rocks

As I mentioned before, I have given up on posting my Australia trip chronologically, so these photos are from a few weeks ago when I went up to Coral Bay and spent the days snorkelling, eating ice creams and sunbathing. Maike, a German-Namibian girl with whom I spent most of my days with, shot these photos of me while going for a walk on the beach one evening. Coincidentally, I found this photo below on Pinterest a few days ago and it reminded me so much of these photos above! The main differences: supermodel Veruschka vs. me and Vogue vs. my blog, but other than that the photos are quite alike aren't they? :) Anyways, I thought it would be fun to show you this similarity. PHOTOGRAPHY - red earth

Whenever I think of Australia, red earth and deserted pieces of land come to mind. Probably the fact that Australia is 200 times bigger than Holland while it has the same amount of inhabitants has to do with it. Most Australian people live in the big cities or on the coast and it is quite incredible that this country has uninhabited area's the size of France. I took these photos on a paddock one dreary afternoon and they basically portray my image of Australia, so I wanted you to see them. Love Aimee
