OUTFIT - striped dress

I'm back from holiday with my friends and we had such an incredible time! We had a few warm, sunny days so we were able to spend some time on the beach and even swim in the North Sea! It was a bit chilly but lots of fun nonetheless! My sweet friend Annelotte took these photo's of me in my favourite Mango striped dress, which I bought in sales a few months ago. Sorry for the black bikini top peeking through! I received interesting questions as result of the Q&A post, which I have been thinking about the past few days. I will be answering them very soon!

Dear lovelies,

You probably know Q&A's from other blogs. It works like this: you question, I answer. You can question me about anything you like; my personal life, fashion, my style, my future plans everything!

I will be gone on holiday for the next five days with six friends of mine. It's going to be an amazing and fun week and I'll tell you all my experiences when I get back home!

colours of summer

This is my most colourful and probably last set of summer holiday photo's. They are pretty random photo's: me twirling around for the outfit of the day photo's (you can see the post here), a beautiful ocean peek through, lovely combination of a yellow wall, a blue stairs rail and pink flowers, sailing boats (obviously), me (again obviously), a cute heart-framed chair which I just had to take a photo of, art piece at the incredible Bilbao Guggenheim museum with my reflection in it, some door detailing and last but not least, the beautiful Mediterranean sea.

The past few days in Holland have been hot. This gives me the opportunity to wear my summer dresses. Dresses which I normally pack in boxes as soon as I come home from France, Italy or some other warm southern country. This baby doll one I am wearing is short and sweet, perfect for some sunset photo's in a typical Dutch setting: the dike.

My mum made these pictures of me when we stayed the night in Paris. You might recognize the location from earlier outfit posts (here and here). I guess Jardin de Tuileries is one of my favourite places in Paris. The atmosphere there is so relaxed, I could spend my whole day there. Although I wish we could have stayed longer in Paris, I can't think of a better ending of a warm and amazing summer vacation.

PHOTOGRAPHY - nature miracles

I personally think that nature is the most beautiful thing in the world. There are so many miracles out there to see and I always try to keep my camera close in case I get the chance to capture one. The Grand Canyon, Yosemite park and Death Valley in the USA last year were amazing, but I came to the conclusion this holiday that the nature in Europe is pretty amazing as well. As you can tell by these pictures, I am particularly fond of the sea, sunsets and mountains. Enjoy!

NEW - chanel

No words needed to describe how happy I am with my amazing new Chanel earrings. In my opinion they are timeless and can be worn at all ages. I can actually imagine myself wearing them when I'm all old and wrinkly :) I hope they last that long! What do you think of them?

FRANCE - week one

This summer vacation we did a lot of traveling around: I saw vineyards, the Atlantic Ocean, the city of Biarritz, mountains, the city of Bilbao, the Mediterranean sea, castles and of course Paris. Below you can see some pictures of the first week! I somehow have a huge love for vineyards, I guess because of their perfect parallel lines and the fact that wine is made with big precision. It takes a lot of labour and measurements to create a good wine. I am definitely a wine lover just like my parents :) I don't drink it often though, only on special occasions.

I'm home! I had an amazing vacation and many holiday posts will be following. On our way back to Holland we stayed the night in Paris and I got something pretty amazing there, so stay tuned to find out what it is!
Here's another outfit which is one of my favourites this summer holiday! We go camping almost every summer and therefore I mostly create comfy, light and fun outfits which often involve a top and shorts. I try to make them a little more interesting by adding accessories and chosing for bright colours. I love the red top I am wearing! I actually own it in white and black as well. The fabric is amazingly soft for its price, which was 15 euro's, and I love the back.

OUTFIT - mediterranee

It's been two weeks since I last posted, I guess that happens when you're having an amazing time doing all sorts of activities in the South of France! My mum and I visited the city of Perpignan for some shopping and sight-seeing today. I hadn't heard of it before and I didn't really know what to expect but it turned out to be a lovely place with lots of cute boutiques and places to eat. Some alleys had that certain Parisian vibe I tend to search for in French cities, I can't help but smile walking in them :)
I'll be home in less than a week and then I'll be back to full-time blogging. I am thinking about doing a Q&A post, would you like that?
